SET is currently working on a new function model for SETCON – highly efficient variable speed drive. This close-to-reality function model enables a pre-test of SETCON´s software and control functions. Furthermore, it helps to integrate the interfaces with the customer´s DCS (distributed control system) in advance which can save significant time and costs during implementation on-site. All controlling equipment such as Main Motor, Servos and Frequency Converters are integrated and checked beforehand. From the perspective of execution, this target-orienting approach can bring a great advantage.
Additionally, this new function model will contribute to the further development of SETCON´s control philosophy, making SETCON even more efficient and practical for the energy and oil&gas industry.
