SETCON®的额定功率为5,750千瓦，额定输出转速为6,282转/分，由于与之相匹配的齿轮箱占地面积，大大减少了实施时间和工作量，因此完全可以满足现场条件。此外，与现状相比，它将带来显著的节能效果，平均连续节能超过1 000千瓦。
除了效率提高带来的直接好处外，该项目还有可能在第一台SETCON®设备成功运行后，获得RWE公司的后续订单。这表示着SET公司与RWE公司在减少能源消耗和促进发电行业可持续发展的努力上迈出了重要一步。
